AMRI Hospital, Mukundapur, a state-of-the-art facility, is situated barely 300 metres off the Eastern Metropolitan By-pass. AMRI-Mukundapur, which started its clinical operations from March 25, 2011, soon emerged as one of the good hospitals in Kolkata. The unit has been providing quality healthcare at value-for-money rates to not just people from in and around Kolkata but also from North-Eastern India, neighbouring countries, such as Bangladesh, Nepal and Myanmar, and even from as far as Africa and the Pacific region.

Spread over around 1.20 lakh square feet, the 175-bed hospital was among the first in Eastern India to claim Green OT certification on May 28, 2016, and earned its accreditation from the NABH in February 2017. With a roster of top experts from various fields of clinical and surgical treatment, the hospital boasts of a well-trained support and paramedical staff, working seamlessly in a technology-driven facility.

In January 2018, AMRI-Mukundapur, one of the best hospitals in Kolkata, joined the elite club of a handful of Indian hospitals who boast of possessing O-ARM technology, the latest in surgical precision. The hospital added another feather to its cap by completing 300-plus laser surgeries in proctology within 16 months, since February 2017. AMRI-Mukundapur has always been at the forefront of technology-backed healthcare protocols, introducing latest technologies that would benefit patients, not just for more precise treatment but also to save time.

AMRI-Mukundapur will soon extend its services to an annexe building next to the existing hospital and will be able to accommodate around 300 more patients, providing quality healthcare services that have become its hallmark. The hospital is also looking at earning an accreditation from the NABL for its pathological lab, and ISO accreditation for its kitchen, which will provide healthy, nutritious, and tasty meals for its patients and visitors.
