Dr. Rattiya Pornchaisuree is a renowned paediatric eye surgeon based in Bangkok, Thailand.
She specializes in micro-incision and vitreo-retinal surgery and has performed over 15,000 phacoemulsification surgeries over the years.
Dr. Pornchaisuree also performs a range of other surgeries, including glaucoma, lacrimal, eyelid, and keratoplasty surgeries, as well as procedures for children's eye disorders, ocular motility disorders and squint, extracapsular cataract extraction, small incision cataract surgery, keratoplasty, phacoemulsification, and trabeculectomies.
She has completed her MD from Mahidol University, Thailand in 1990, Diploma in Clinical Sciences in Ophthalmology from Mahidol University, Thailand in 1994, Diploma of the Thai Board of Ophthalmology from Mahidol University, Thailand in 1996, and Fellowship in Paediatric Ophthalmology from The Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital, Melbourne University in Australia in 1998.
Dr. Pornchaisuree is highly specialized in the use of advanced ophthalmic equipment like AMO Sovereign (White-star) phacoemulsification System, Alcon Infinity Phaco System, Bausch & Lomb Stellaris, etc.
She worked at NaKhon Phanom Hospital, Thailand in 1998-1999 and is now available for consultations at her clinic in Thailand.
She is a notable member of All Thailand Ophthalmological Society.
