- Dr. Raju Vyas is the Director of Cardio Thoracic Vascular Surgery at Fortis Shalimar Bagh.
- He has more than 35 years of experience in Cardiac Sciences and Vascular Surgery.
- He has a wide range of surgical experience, including Beating heart bypass, On-pump CABG, Valve Replacement, Redo CABG, redo valve replacement, arterial switch, Sennings operation, TAPVD, Fontan, TOF, and its variants.
- Dr. Vyas has also managed various post-operative and surgical complications in the ICU, such as ventilation, low cardiac output, capillary leak syndrome, post-operative acute renal failure requiring dialysis, resistant arrhythmias, and modulating vasodilators/diuretic therapy in the post-operative period.
- During his registrar-ship at G.B. Pant Hospital and LPS Institute of Cardiology, he gained exposure to lung and vascular procedures, as well as thoracic and vascular surgical emergencies.
- He holds the following educational qualifications: MBBS from the University of Rajasthan in 1988, MS in General Surgery from Karnataka University in 1994, and MCh in Cardio Thoracic and Vascular Surgery from the University of Delhi in 1998.
