About Doctor

• Dr. Barri is the President of the International Society for Fertility Preservation.
• He serves as the Director of the Obstetrics, Gynaecology, and Reproductive Department at Hospital Universitari Dexeus Grupo Quirónsalud.
• Since January 2011, he has been the Director of the Càtedra d’Investigació en Obstetrícia i Ginecologia of the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona.
• Dr. Barri led the pioneering team in Assisted Reproduction in Spain, achieving the birth of the first baby boy in Spain via in vitro fertilization on July 12, 1984.
• He is an Active Founding Member of the Dexeus University Institute Faculty.
• Currently, he heads Reproductive Medicine at the Obstetrics and Gynaecology Department at Dexeus University Institute.
• In 2003, Dr. Barri was appointed Corresponding Academic at the Royal Academy of Medicine of Catalonia.
