Dr. Gamal Ahmed, MBBCh, MSc, MD, is a Pediatric and Pediatric Critical Care Consultant and Head of the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) at Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City (SSMC) in Abu Dhabi. Dr. Ahmed has over 22 years of extensive experience treating a wide range of critical pediatric conditions. After completing his residency in Egypt, he pursued fellowship training in Pediatric Critical Care. He has been responsible for the administration of medical training programs for students and trainees.As an expert in the field of Pediatrics, Dr. Ahmed has authored various research publications focusing on different aspects of pediatric critical care and health care quality.
