He is a founding member of the Lung Cancer Consortium Asia, the Esophageal Cancer Consortium, a visiting fellow for video assisted thoracoscopic surgery (VATS) and robotic thoracic surgery in 2015 in the United States, an external examiner for the M.Ch. (Surgical Oncology) examination at Tata Memorial Hospital in Mumbai since June 2013, and a member of the Indian Cooperative Oncology Network.
