• Dr. Ajit Pai is a cancer surgeon with a special expertise in cancers of the gastrointestinal tract (stomach, pancreas, colon and rectum), gynecologic cancers (ovarian, uterine and cervical cancers) and cancers of the food pipe (esophagus).
• He also provides comprehensive care for cancers of the breast, head and neck. He underwent advanced training in Gastrointestinal and pancreatic cancer surgery in Japan and at Heidelberg, Germany.
• Dr. Pai has also completed a fellowship in advanced laparoscopic and robotic surgical techniques for GI cancers at Chicago, USA.
• He also specializes in the HIPEC procedure for advanced peritoneal surface cancers.
• He has published extensively in peer reviewed international journals, presented at international meetings and has written several book chapters.
