• Dr. Rapat Pittayanon practices Gastroenterology & Hepatology at Medpark Hospital Bangkok.
• Assoc. Prof .Dr. Rapat Pittayanon earned her medical degree from Chulalongkorn University in Bangkok, Thailand. She went on to complete a residency in internal medicine at Siriraj Hospital, also in Bangkok, and a fellowship in gastroenterology and hepatology at King's College Hospital in London, United Kingdom.
• In addition to her clinical practice at Bumrungrad International Hospital, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Rapat Pittayanon is also an assistant professor of medicine at Chulalongkorn University. She is actively involved in teaching and training medical students, residents, and fellows.
• Assoc. Prof. Dr. Rapat Pittayanon's areas of expertise include endoscopy, oesophageal disorders, motility disorders, inflammatory bowel disease, and hepatology.
• She is skilled in performing a wide range of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including upper endoscopy, colonoscopy, capsule endoscopy, and endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP).
• Assoc. Prof. Dr. Rapat Pittayanon has published over 60 articles in peer-reviewed journals and has presented her research at numerous national and international conferences she is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Gastroenterological Association, the European Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, and the Thai Association for the Study of the Liver.
• Following medical school, Dr. Pittayanon pursued residencies in Internal Medicine at Chulalongkorn University, completing in 2009.
• She then obtained board certifications, including the Diploma of the Thai Board of Internal Medicine in 2009 and the Diploma of the Thai Sub Board of Gastroenterology in 2011.
• Dr. Pittayanon furthered her education with fellowships, specializing in Gastroenterology at Chulalongkorn University in Thailand, Experimental Surgery at McGill University in Canada, and Systematic Review Guideline Development and Upper Gastrointestinal Tract Microbiota at McMaster University Faculty of Health Sciences in Canada.
