He is skilled in endoscopic cranioplasty, functional neurosurgery (DBS, Baclofen Pump), paediatric neurosurgery, neuro-oncology, spine surgery, and functional neurosurgery. He earned his MBBS from Punjab University, his MCh in Neurosurgery from the GB Pant Institute of Medical Education & Research (GPMER), New Delhi, and training in Endoscopic Spine Surgery. He also earned his MS in General Surgery from Govt. Medical College, Amritsar (MISS). He also did a fellowship at Singapore's National Neurosciences Institute (NNI). He is a founding member of the Neuro Spinal Surgeons Foundation and a member of the Delhi Neurological Association and the Neurological Society of India.
