• A veteran in the field of Gastroenterology, Dr Ravi R has over 25 years of experience.
• The Madras Medical College alumnus is a specialist in ERCP procedures — he has done over 8,000 Therapeutic ERCPs for obstructive jaundice, chronic pancreatitis and pancreatic biliary cancers.
• He is a key opinion leader in these specialties and has trained many gastroenterologists across the country. He is also a specialist for GI Bleeding. He practices early detection and endoscopic removal (ESD) of early gastrointestinal cancers.
• He was the second person in the country to do an EUS-guided SEMS insertion for pancreatic necrosis and do an endoscopic pancreatic necrosectomy.
