Dr. Nazim ahmad alrifai has over 20 years of bariatric surgery, bariatric surgery and laparoscopic surgery experience in many countries. He completed his undergraduate medical studies at the university of damascus and his postgraduate studies at both moh his syria and his mrcsi ireland. He is a prominent member of several medical associations in syria, the united arab emirates and around the world. His areas of expertise include obesity management and surgery, and general surgery. He has hands-on experience with most common bariatric and surgical management techniques and procedures. With more than 20 years of experience and skills acquired, he is considered one of the pioneers in bariatric and general surgery.

Dr. Nazim AlRifai earned his MD (General Surgery) and Bachelor of Medicine & Surgery degrees from Damascus University in Syria. He has earned an MRSCI (Member of Royal College of Surgeons, Ireland).

Additionally, he has finished a certified degree in mediaarthistories at Danube University of KREMS, Austria, and has received ATLS (Advanced Life Trauma Support) training from the American College of Surgeons.
