Leading ENT Consultant and Specialist Dr. Aiham Alshawwa holds a German Board certification and has more than 13 years of professional experience. Dr. Asst. Prof. Alshawwa began his career in medicine in 1999 in Syria, where he graduated with a Doctor of Medicine from Damascus University. He eventually relocated to Germany, where he obtained a German medical licence, certification as an ENT specialist, and five years of ENT consulting experience. After beginning his career as an ENT Resident at the Marburg University Clinic in Hessen and afterwards working at the academic teaching hospitals of Jena University in Thringen, Asst. Prof. Dr. Alshawwa has gathered a wealth of knowledge and expertise. A number of positions at renowned medical organisations followed, including ENT Specialist at Helios Clinic, ENT Consultant at Elbland Clinic, the academic teaching hospital of Dresden University, ENT Senior Consultant at Leipzig's Acqua Clinic, and most recently in 2018 ENT Consultant at the Albertus Centre in Mnchengladbach, Germany. Asst. Prof. Dr. Alshawwa has extensive training in a variety of medical ENT treatments, including Advanced Functional Endoscopic Sinus Surgery, Functional Rhinoplasty, and Laser Surgery of the Larynx.
