About Doctor

Dr. Amir Faour is a cardiology consultant at Al Safa's Medcare Hospital. He is an interventional cardiologist trained in Australia and the UK. He got his Bachelor's degree and his MBBS from the University of Queensland, Australia. He also holds a PhD in Philosophy from the University of New South Wales, Australia.

He is a Fellow of the Heart Association of Australia and New Zealand (FCSANZ) and the Royal Australian Medical Association (FRACP). He is also a member of the American Heart Association (AHA) and the American College of Cardiology (ACC).

Dr. Faour started his illustrious career with an internship and then a residency in Internal Medicine and Cardiology at Liverpool Hospital, Australia. He then completed a fellowship as a Fellow in Interventional Cardiology at Liverpool Hospital, Australia, and was an Associate Lecturer at the University of New South Wales. He completed his Fellowship in Interventional Cardiac and his PhD at Campbelltown Hospital, Sydney, Australia, followed by a Fellowship in Cardiac Structures at Leeds General Hospital, Leeds, UK.
