    At the Jawaharlal Institute of Medical Education & Research (JIPMER), Pondicherry, India, where he also finished an ICMR studentship in Pharmacology, Dr. Srinivas Reddy received his medical training. At the Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education & Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh, India, he finished his general surgery residency. He then relocated to the UK to pursue his surgical and hepatobiliary training. The Royal College of Surgeons granted him the FRCS in General Surgery & Transplant after he successfully completed fellowships at liver transplant centres in Newcastle-upon-Tyne and Leeds. At the Universities of Newcastle and Sunderland, he also did research on how to use cutting-edge organ preservation procedures to improve transplantation outcomes. His PhD thesis was the result of this investigation, which was supported in part by the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.

    In order to work as a Senior Consultant surgeon in liver transplantation at Global Hospital in Chennai, Dr. Srinivas Reddy returned to India in 2012. He participated in more than 1500 living donor liver transplants over the course of the following seven years and played a key role in establishing and guiding liver transplants units all throughout India. He moved back to Gleneagles Global Hospitals to lead the liver transplant programme in October 2020 after serving as the Director of Liver Transplantation at Dr. Rela Institute & Medical Center, Chennai, from October 2018 to October 2020.

    He has co-authored a chapter in "Gray's Anatomy," and to his credit are over 100 peer-reviewed scientific articles. He has also written numerous textbook chapters. He frequently speaks about liver disease and liver transplantation at national and international conferences. He participated in the creation of the ILTS Pediatric liver transplant registry and is a member of the International Liver Transplantation Society's Pediatric Committee. His current work focuses on creating improved liver regeneration models and new methods for treating liver cancers. Expertise in Hepato-Pancreatico-Biliary Surgery & Organ Transplantation. Attained Research Fellowship from Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, Trainer for the Care of the Critically Ill Surgical Patient (cCRISP) course run by Royal College of Surgeons of England
