    About

    Dr. Krishan Chugh is one of the best pediatricians in Asia. He is one of the first Indian pediatricians to begin working actively in the field of pediatric respiratory and allergy. He has extensive experience in pediatric and neonatal bronchoscopies. He is a pioneer of pediatric interventional bronchoscopy in India. He leads an annual workshop on pediatric bronchoscopy at FMRI. Dr. Chug founded the country's first Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) in 1982 at Kavaratti Sarang Children's Hospital, Lady Harding College of Medicine, New Delhi. Later, when he transferred to Sir Ganga Ram Hospital in New Delhi, he established the country's first private sector PICU. Currently he is leading his PICU at his FMRI. He is one of the top children's specialists in his NCR area of Gurgaon and Delhi. Dr. Chugh is passionate about educating and training young pediatricians. He has now trained numerous pediatricians who are successfully running PICUs in their respective cities and communities. His views have also been well received by the media on issues related to children's health, including pollution, dengue fever, swine flu and more.
