Dr. Soneja graduated from Maulana Azad Medical College with her MBBS in 2002. Following this, additional postgraduate family medicine training was provided by the Guthrie Clinic in Pennsylvania, USA. She subsequently completed her study in obesity medicine and obtained American Board of Obesity Medicine certification (ABOM). She has a diploma in diabetes and endocrinology from the UK and received training in diabetes management from the USA. She was a consultant in diabetes and obesity medicine at University Hospitals in Cleveland, USA, before this.

Dr. Soneja has extensive experience handling lifestyle-related illnesses like diabetes and obesity. Her areas of expertise are preventive medicine and childhood obesity. For her patients looking to manage their weight as well as diseases like diabetes, high blood pressure, cholesterol, thyroid disorders, PCOS, etc., she believes in offering holistic care. She has a lot of experience handling complex diabetes, including cases where insulin pumps are required. She oversees extensive patient weight management initiatives.
