Dr. Gaurav Dixit completed his MBBS and MD in General medicine from PGIMS Rohtak in 2008. After completing his senior residency in General Medicine, he joined the department of Clinical Hematology at AIIMS Delhi in 2011, and from there, he picked up an interest in the study and treatment of blood disorders. In 2012, he joined CMC Vellore, which has one of the best hematology departments in the country, for his DM degree.

He worked for three years in this busy transplant center, before finishing in 2015. He joins Artemis Hospital after working for 4 years each in Max Hospital, Shalimar Bagh and Action Cancer Hospital. He was instrumental in setting up a bone marrow transplant program in both centers.He has performed First Bone Marrow Transplant in Kenya in Oct 2022, successfully.
